Love and food are closely intertwined – and this cheese board goes straight to the heart. Here’s how to put it together:
Cut out several large hearts from a flat piece of Emmentaler AOP cheese and place them in a circle in the middle of a round wooden board. Make sure that the hearts alternate up and down.
Now it’s time to add a little colour: cut small circles from a red pepper and place them alternately with round crackers and cherry tomatoes around the circle of hearts. Place a sprig of rosemary and a dried apricot on each of the crackers and a halved strawberry (or other seasonal fruit) on top of the peppers. Arrange the rest of the strawberries in the middle of the circle.
As a final touch, you can place a macadamia nut in each of the empty spaces at the edge of the circle – and now this display of love is ready and waiting to be admired and enjoyed.
