Advent is about building anticipation for all the celebrations on Christmas Day as it slowly comes nearer. You will also want to have the Advent wreath with fragrant rosemary and stars made from Emmentaler AOP nearby, because it offers something that other wreaths don’t have: a heavenly taste. With this delicious Advent wreath, you won’t be in any rush to get to Christmas!
Cover the edge of a round wooden board with plenty of rosemary sprigs to create a green wreath. At the top, place a fabric bow in a nice contrasting colour (we suggest red) on top of the branches.
Take a thick slice of Emmentaler AOP cheese and cut out several stars using a biscuit cutter. Spread the stars around the wreath. You can make them in a variety of sizes.
Then halve some red and yellow cherry tomatoes and place the halves in the empty spaces on the wreath. For even more variety, you can add slices of cucumber until the wreath is colourfully decorated. If you like, you can also add candles or a few slices of bread or crackers, and then the Advent wreath cheese board is ready.
